1936 Magic Chef 6300 Series range

     Following the Industrial Revolution, countless new markets dotted the landscape of pre-WWII America. The industrialists and entrepreneurs who carved out a name for themselves in these markets wanted only the best appliances for their extravagant mansions and beach homes. Magic Chef set before them the 6300 series, a landmark stove in appearance and function:

  • Two baking ovens (24,000 btu Lage oven, 20,000 btu Small oven), each thermostatically controlled
  • Seperate broiler (20,000 btu), also thermostatically controlled
  • Six surface burners (14,000 btu Large burner, 11,000 btu Small burners)
  • Storage compartment for cooking pans
  • Overhead bread warmer
  • Clock & timer
  • Plenty of chrome trim
  • Commercial grade gas safety systems for each oven/broiler (installed during restoration)
