Purchased in 2000 from Johnny’s antique appliance restoration shop in Sonoma, California, and was represented to be in full operating condition at that time by the shop. It has been in storage indoors since then and never used or tested other than the lights and clock.
John Jowers of AntiqueAppliances.com appraised this stove, from photos, at $2,500 in 2016. The appraisal indicated a mechanical only restoration of $1,800 at that time would raise the value to $4,800.
The exterior is in very good condition, with 2 noticeable enamel chips on the bottom left and top right corners respectfully. The chrome was replated by the Sonoma shop and is in excellent condition. The burner grates and heads were re-porcelained. The interior is in good condition with some discolorations on the stove gas line airflow butterfly valves, as well as significant rust of the oven burners. The oven racks and oven surfaces have some minor discoloration. The lights and clock work. The appraisal gives more details of the observed condition.
