Freezer has been continuously working since our family moved into the NYC apt where it has been since the late 1960s. It has been used for freezing food. It has been maintained very well with defrostings 2 x yearly.

Our mother spray painted the outer surface magenta so I do not know what the original color was. The lower shelf surface dirt was after I defrosted it and unplugged, the freezer, it is wiped away.
